Design
The Climma VEGA Mk II digital marine air conditioning control Display Panel
can be easily installed in frames from all leading switch panel
manufacturers, including Euroliving, Tecino Tech, Tecino Light, Tecino Matix,
Vimar, Gewiss, ABB and AVE. The unobtrusive but multi-functional display can
accept a wide variety of interchangeable bezels that match and complement
light switches, other controls, and the decor chosen by the interior designer
or naval architect. A hand-held Remote Control is available for convenient
operation and control of basic functions.
Application
The Climma VEGA Mk II is easily initialized by the installer for use on the
following types of Climma systems.
• Direct Expansion (DX) - Compact (self-contained) or Split.
Either Cool Only, Reverse Cycle, or with Electric
Heat.
• Tempered Water (Chiller) - Fan Coils.
Either Fan Only, with Water Valve, or with Water Valve
and Electric heat.
Thanks to the networking feature, several Fan Coils or Cabin/Split units in a
large area can be controlled from a single VEGA Mk II control. Each VEGA Mk
II control may be connected to a ships systems monitor using the Modbus
connection.
Features
Display Panel - All functions, adjustments, and advanced program
functions can be accessed from the Display Panel. A four-stage dimmer allows
display intensity to be lowered in low-light situations. The three segment
display shows cabin temperature, Set Point, alarm codes, operational mode,
etc., while LED's show fan speed, system operating mode, and alarm status.
With the system "Off', cabin temperature is displayed on the Display Panel.
The Display can be set to work in Celsius or Fahrenheit
Temperature Sensing - This is accomplished in one
of two ways.
• Sensor on Display Panel - This is the preferred sensor. Very
accurate, but can be calibrated by operator if required.
• Remote Sensor - If the sensor on the Display Panel is affected
by air blowing onto it, behind it, or if sunlight or some other heat source
renders false readings, a Remote Sensor can be installed that will override
the sensor on the Display Panel. The Remote Sensor can be installed in the
return-air flow or in a free air space in the cabin. The Remote Sensor can be
calibrated by the operator if required.
